What's happening in Sweden?

    General News - September 25, 2012

Where many countries are struggling in the economic crisis other countries are doing well. Let’s have a look at Sweden. The performance of the Swedish economy overall is quite good. Since the mid-1990s, Sweden has followed an ambitious agenda of fiscal and structural reform.

Most recently, the reform efforts have focused on achieving full employment, ensuring a strong and stable financial sector, improving the functioning of the housing market, reforming the education system, promoting innovative and dynamic businesses and tackling the environmental and climate change issues. Despite the crisis in Europe the economic indicators in June showed that Sweden has avoided a formal recession and that the economy is doing better than expected.

Dynamics Software Managing Director Eric Veldkamp: “we also noticed that the economy in Sweden is doing well. Industries are willing to invest in IT and Microsoft Dynamics AX especially. In a few months’ time we welcomed four Swedish IT companies into our partner network. They managed to sell Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 projects and our additional software at large multi country and international operating companies with established names.”

Eric continues; “Dynamics Software has a strong focus on strategic partnerships that can leverage our industry specific expertise with Industry Solutions like, Maintenance Management, Warehouse Management, Service Management and Graphical Planning. We see Scandinavia as an important market that includes international opportunities to serve mid-sized and large companies. We welcome Swedish partners Evry, Logica, Acando and iStone|Mercator to our channel and congratulate them with their successes.”
