In our business, spring and autumn are the times where you automatically work actively on your business relations. There are a lot of events around the world, where we meet with people in person and the networking is like working. I always say Microsoft’s second core business is organizing events and I wonder which core business generates the most money. Anyway, in mid-summer and mid-winter time, by nature, there is more focus on personal relationships whether it is spending long or short holidays and Christmas with family. By the way: it is not that I do not work on business relationships in these periods, nor that my personal relationships do not get attention in spring and autumn!
