Chrysal, an international manufacturer of high-quality care products for flowers and plants, has completed the transition to Microsoft Dynamics® AX and the integrated Dynamics Software Real-Time Warehouse Management solution, successfully.
Going live in the Netherlands and in three other European sites starts the new centralized approach to increase efficiency and enhance mutual cooperation. The other six international branches will follow within two years. The implementation was done by HSO, a leading provider and integrator of innovative enterprise business solutions.
The ten global offices were, until recently, all using different stand-alone systems. With the transition to Microsoft Dynamics AX and the integrated Real-Time Warehouse Management solution of Dynamics Software, Chrysal utilizes the advantages of a uniform way of working. Stock and premixes of care products can be better tailored to the different international markets and there is more transparency in the processes. Oliver Schaapherder, ICT manager at Chrysal, explains: "In addition to Europe, we are located in countries where the flowers bloom, from Ecuador to the United States. The new design ensures that all branches get the best out of themselves and each other by working in a similar way, with the Netherlands as the basis."
Thanks to the specific industry solution for wholesale by HSO it soon emerged how the structure of the ERP would be most effective. Schaapherder says: "HSO understood our wishes as producer quickly, they saw exactly how Microsoft Dynamics could increase our efficiency and service quality." The strong pragmatic character made the choice for HSO a logical one: "We, our own people and the HSO professionals, worked hard to make the implementation a success. Even outside regular working hours an appeal could be made to HSO, which indicates the kind of commitment they show in such projects. I got to know HSO as a no-nonsense club which wants to achieve the best results."
