April 15, 2009: Dynamics Software launches Graphical Planning and Scheduling for Microsoft Dynamics™ AX

Zürich-Switzerland, Veenendaal- the Netherlands, April 15, 2009 –
Dynamics Software today announced the availability of Graphical Planning and Scheduling for Microsoft DynamicsTM AX version AX 4.0 SP2 and AX 2009 SP1.

Graphical Planning and Scheduling for Microsoft Dynamics AX is an integrated drag and drop based planning and scheduling solution for production and projects. Graphical Planning and Scheduling provides a graphical visualization of the planned and unplanned capacity of work centers and enables customers to make the necessary allocations and update modifications in the planning in a user-friendly way. For customers there is no need to invest in separate, non-integrated planning tools anymore. Furthermore, non Microsoft Dynamics AX users can replace their ERP and planning systems into one integrated business solution.

Graphical Planning and Scheduling enables companies to execute their day-to-day planning processes real-time using drag and drop functionality. Graphical Planning and Scheduling enables planners to view and schedule tasks, required items and resources quickly and easily. A simple graphical screen displays all production orders, project activities, jobs and tasks and is used to manage resources, resource groups and products (both purchased and produced). Graphical Planning and Scheduling enable planners to work on 2 different screens and drag the orders from the unplanned order overview and drop/allocate them to a resource with capacity on another screen.

Graphical Planning and Scheduling is built in cooperation with Ad Ultima NV, a Microsoft Dynamics AX partner in Belgium and France with a long heritage in manufacturing and project based companies.
